Understanding the Trade Management widget on ThndrX desktop

A guide to the Trade Management widget on the ThndrX desktop Trade page, including your positions, orders, alerts, trades history, and transactions.

The Trade Management widget is located at the bottom of the ThndrX desktop Trade page.

It brings your trading activity together across five tabs:

  • Positions — stocks you currently hold

  • Orders — your submitted stock orders and their statuses

  • Alerts — your active price alerts

  • Trades History — completed sell transactions

  • Transactions — money-related activity on your account

The Trade Management widget can also be expanded to full screen using the icon at the top right.


Positions

The Positions tab shows your current open stock positions.

Each position includes:

  • Symbol — stock ticker and logo

  • Price — current market price

  • Day Change % — percentage price change during the current trading day

  • P/L — unrealized profit or loss in EGP

  • P/L % — unrealized profit or loss as a percentage

  • Avg Entry Price — average price at which the position was opened

  • Qty — number of shares held

  • Avg Cost — average total cost per share, including fees

  • Mkt. Value — current market value of the position

  • Weight — the position's percentage of the total value of your displayed positions

You can reorder the columns by dragging them into your preferred arrangement.

Position summary

A position summary footer can be displayed at the bottom of the Positions tab to show aggregated information for your open positions.

Use the settings icon in the Trade Management widget to show or hide the position summary.


Orders

The Orders tab shows your submitted stock orders and their current status.

Use the filter at the top right to display:

  • All Orders — all submitted orders

  • Pending — active orders waiting to be filled

  • Completed — orders that have been fully filled

  • Cancelled — cancelled orders

  • Closed — orders that have expired or otherwise been closed

Each order includes:

  • Symbol — stock ticker and logo

  • Order Type — Market or Limit

  • Time in Force — duration or execution condition applied to the order

  • Action — Buy or Sell

  • Qty — number of shares

  • Price — order price

  • Status — current order status

  • Time — date and time the order was placed

Pending orders can be edited or cancelled directly from the Orders tab.


Alerts

The Alerts tab shows your active stock price alerts.

Each alert includes:

  • Symbol — stock the alert applies to

  • Alert Type — type of alert

  • Trigger Value — price that triggers the alert

  • Date — date and time the alert was created

Use the delete icon on an alert to remove it.

Alerts cannot be edited from the Trade Management widget. To change an existing alert, delete it and create a new one.


Trades History

The Trades History tab shows your completed sell transactions, including partial sells.

Each completed sell includes:

  • Symbol — stock ticker and logo

  • Exit Date — date the shares were sold

  • Exit Price — price at which the shares were sold

  • Volume — number of shares sold

  • P/L — realized profit or loss in EGP

  • P/L % — realized profit or loss as a percentage

📝 Note: Trades History focuses on completed sells. For a more detailed view of trading activity, including entry and exit information for full and partial trades, see the Trading Journal on the Performance page.


Transactions

The Transactions tab shows a log of money-related activity on your account.

Each transaction includes:

  • Date — date and time of the transaction

  • Type — type of account activity, such as Buy Order, Subscription Fees, Commission Kickback, or Reward

  • Method — transaction description

  • Amount — transaction value in EGP

📝 Note: The Transactions tab is an account activity log. It is different from Trades History, which specifically shows completed sell transactions and their realized profit or loss.


Trade Management settings

Click the settings icon at the top right of the Trade Management widget to show or hide the position summary footer.

The position summary appears at the bottom of the Positions tab and provides an aggregated view of your open positions.


Viewing Trade Management in full screen

Click the full-screen icon at the top right of the Trade Management widget to expand the widget.

Full-screen mode gives more space to view the information and columns available across the Trade Management tabs.


FAQs

What does the Trade Management widget show?

The Trade Management widget shows five tabs — Positions, Orders, Alerts, Trades History, and Transactions — giving a complete view of your open positions, all orders, active alerts, completed trades, and account transaction history in one place.

Can I cancel an order from the Trade Management widget?

Pending orders can be edited or cancelled directly from the Orders tab in the Trade Management widget.

Can I edit an alert from the Trade Management widget?

Editing an alert is not supported in the Trade Management widget. To change an alert, delete it using the delete icon and create a new one.

What is the difference between Trades History and the Trading Journal?

The Trades History tab shows completed sell transactions including partial sells. The Trading Journal on the Performance tab shows a more complete record of trading activity including both full trades and partial sells with entry and exit detail.

Can I reorder the columns in the Positions tab?

Columns in the Positions tab can be reordered by dragging them to a preferred arrangement.

What does the position summary footer show?

The position summary footer displays an aggregated summary of all open positions at the bottom of the Positions tab. It can be toggled on or off from the widget settings icon.
