Fees

Transferring shares into Thndr is free from Thndr's side. Your existing broker may charge their own transfer-out fees. Check the transfer-out fees with your current broker before submitting the share transfer request to Thndr.

A transfer fee of 0.05% of the market value of the transferred shares applies when moving shares out of Thndr.

  • Rate: 0.05% of the market value of the shares being transferred, based on the previous trading day's closing price.

  • Minimum fee: EGP 50.

For example, if the shares being transferred have a market value of EGP 20,000, the transfer fee would be:

EGP 20,000 × 0.05% = EGP 10

Since the minimum fee is EGP 50, the charged fee would be EGP 50.

For another example, if the shares being transferred have a market value of EGP 200,000, the transfer fee would be:

EGP 200,000 × 0.05% = EGP 100

In that case, the charged fee would be EGP 100.

The Thndr wallet must have enough balance to cover the transfer fee before the share transfer request can be processed.

What can affect a share transfer

  • Unsettled shares
Shares still under settlement cannot be transferred until settlement is complete

For example, if shares are still settling on Monday, the transfer can only start after the settlement process is complete.

  • Changes to the transfer request

Any changes to the shares or quantities after submission require a new form within one business week. Otherwise, the transfer request will be cancelled.

For example, if a transfer request is submitted on Sunday, and the share quantity needs to be changed, a new form must be submitted within one business week.
