To ensure a smooth transfer, make sure your Thndr Account is Accepted or Pending Review
Part I: Get Thndr’s Bank Details
Open the Thndr app and navigate to the Wallet tab.
Tap Top Up (top left) and select Instapay.
Copy Thndr’s bank details and note your Thndr username.
Part II: Send the Transfer in Instapay
Open the Instapay app and tap Send Money.
Select the Bank icon and paste Thndr’s bank details.
Tap Reason for Transfer and, in the Notes field, type only your Thndr username.
Enter the amount and confirm payment.
Part III: Return to Thndr and Confirm Deposit

How Long Does It Take?
Most Instapay top-ups are reflected in your Thndr wallet within a few hours. In some cases, it can take up to one working day.
You’ll be able to see your funds in your wallet balance once the transfer has been successfully matched and processed.
You can track any pending transactions from the Funding tab in your Wallet.
What Can Delay Your Transfer
If your transfer hasn’t appeared yet, it may be due to one of the following:
You didn’t confirm your deposit.
You completed the Instapay transfer but didn’t tap Confirm Deposit in the Thndr app.
Resolution: Return to the Thndr Wallet, tap Top Up, select Instapay, and Confirm Deposit to complete the process.
Incorrect or missing details
The entered amount, or username doesn’t match the transfer.
Resolution: Submit a new confirmation request with the exact transferred amount, or contact support if the request is already submitted with the correct details.
Transfer made from someone else’s account
The Instapay transfer was sent from a bank account or e-wallet with a different name than your Thndr account.
Resolution: Contact support for a compliance review or refund guidance. Topups from your own personal account are accepted much faster than topups from first-degree relatives.
Weekend or Public Holiday
Your request was submitted outside working days or processing hours.
Resolution: Wait until the next Egyptian working day for processing to resume.
Bank-Side Delay
The sending bank delayed processing or settlement of the transfer.
Resolution: Check your sending bank app first. If the transfer is completed there but still missing after one working day, contact support with proof of transfer.

Tips for Faster Processing
To help your transfer appear as quickly as possible:
Always enter your Thndr username in the Instapay notes.
Including your Thndr username in the transfer reference helps the team identify and match the payment faster. Without it, approval can still happen — but may take longer.
Enter Exact Amounts
The amount you enter in Thndr must exactly match the amount transferred.If you made multiple transfers, create one confirmation request per transfer.
Do not:
Approximate the amount
Combine multiple transfers into one request
Use one request for several payments
Confirm Deposit request immediately after transferring.
Make your transfer during working hours (Sun-Thu, 9.00am-5.00pm) when possible.
Send from your own bank account
What if my Instapay Top Up Still Hasn’t Appeared?

I forgot to confirm my top-up. What should I do?
If you haven’t confirmed your top-up yet, don’t worry, your funds are safe. Go back to your Thndr app and complete the confirmation step. You can access the confirmation page from your wallet > Instapay > scroll to the bottom for Confirm Deposit. Or you may notice a banner inside the app that takes you directly to confirm your transfer.
Your funds cannot be processed until you complete this step.
Can I send money from an account that is not in my name?
Transfers must primarily be made from an account in your own name. This is required for your security and to prevent unauthorized transactions. If you wish to transfer funds from another person’s bank account, it must be from a first degree relative and you should reach out to support after the transfer is made to submit a request for a compliance review
Why hasn’t my transfer appeared yet?
Most delays are caused by incorrect details, or you haven’t confirmed your top up. Go to the Confirm Deposit page in the Thndr app to complete the transfer process. If you had put in incorrect details, go to something something to fix this issue.
If neither of these situations apply to you and it’s been more than one working day since you have completed your topup, contact support with a screenshot of the transfer receipt, the amount, and the date of the transaction.
Are Instapay top-ups instant?
They are usually fast, but not guaranteed to be instant. Instapay transfers typically take a few hours, and up to one working day when correctly completed and confirmed in the Thndr app.
