Understanding Fundamental Portfolios

A guide available fundamental portfolios, holdings, methodology, performance, updates, and rebalancing rules.

A fundamental Rumble portfolio is an expert-managed collection of stocks that can be followed as a group. Each portfolio includes its own methodology, holdings, performance, benchmark, and updates.

Finding portfolios

Portfolios are available on the Fundamental page under the Lists view.

Use the Calls / Lists toggle to switch from individual fundamental calls to portfolios.

Each portfolio card shows:

  • Portfolio name

  • Short description

  • Managing expert

  • Last updated date

  • Latest updates dropdown

Available portfolios depend on the selected market.

Note: Portfolios are Fundamental content and require the Conviction plan or Conviction & Trading plan. The Trading plan does not include access to portfolios.

  • Current stocks — stocks currently held in the portfolio

  • Removed stocks — stocks that have been removed from the portfolio

Recently added stocks can appear with a New marker.

The methodology includes a video and written explanation.

Portfolio methodology can cover:

  • Stock selection

  • Weighting

  • Rebalancing

  • Benchmark

  • Investment horizon

  • Rules for adding or removing stocks

The Performance tab shows how the portfolio has performed against its benchmark.

  • Changes to portfolio allocation

  • Other changes to the portfolio

Updates appear in chronological order.

How portfolios are maintained

Rumble portfolios are reviewed on a monthly cycle.

At the start of each month, the managing expert reviews the portfolio and decides whether changes are needed.

A stock may also be removed during the month if the stock:

  • Reaches its target price

  • Falls beyond the portfolio-specific loss limit

The exact loss limit depends on the portfolio.

Notes: Portfolio changes should be followed through the expert’s update. Interim price movements do not automatically mean a stock should be bought or sold before an update is issued.

How to use a Rumble portfolio

Portfolio rules vary by portfolio.

Before following a portfolio:

  1. Read the Methodology to understand the investment approach

  2. Check the Stocks tab for current holdings

  3. Follow the Updates tab for changes

  4. Track the Performance tab against the portfolio benchmark

The specific investment and rebalancing rules for each portfolio are explained below.

Rumble Fundamental Portfolio (RFP)

The Rumble Fundamental Portfolio (RFP) is a handpicked portfolio of 10 EGX stocks.

RFP uses a top-down investment approach and holds the 10 stocks at equal weight.

The portfolio is benchmarked against the EGX30 Capped index.

The managing analyst selects stocks that fit the year’s fundamental investment themes.

How to invest in RFP

RFP recommends:

  • Starting with at least EGP 50,000

  • Building on the positions each month

  • Holding all 10 stocks at equal weight

For example, an EGP 100,000 portfolio would begin with approximately EGP 10,000 allocated to each of the 10 stocks.

How to rebalance RFP

RFP is rebalanced at the first session of each month.

Each stock should be brought back to equal weight.

For example, if an EGP 100,000 RFP grows to EGP 110,000, each of the 10 stocks should represent approximately EGP 11,000.

Rebalancing may involve:

  • Selling part of stocks that have risen above the equal-weight allocation

  • Buying more of stocks that have fallen below the equal-weight allocation

When a monthly update changes the holdings:

  • Fully sell any removed stock

  • Add the new stock at the same equal weight

During the month, a stock may be removed if the stock reaches its target price or falls more than 10% from the start of the month.

Wait for the expert’s update before acting on an interim move.

Rumble Shariah Portfolio (RSP)

The Rumble Shariah Portfolio (RSP) is a fully automated portfolio of 10 Shariah-compliant stocks held at equal weight.

RSP is benchmarked against the EGX33 index.

Each month, RSP:

  1. Filters the EGX33 using three fundamental factors

  2. Applies a technical momentum criterion

  3. Selects the top 10 qualifying stocks

How to invest in RSP

RSP follows the same investment structure as RFP:

  • Start with at least EGP 50,000

  • Build on the positions each month

  • Hold 10 stocks at equal weight

  • Rebalance at the first session of each month

RSP is updated on the first day of each month.

During the month, a stock may be removed if the stock reaches its target price or falls more than 20% from the start of the month.

Wait for the expert’s update before acting.

Bottom Fisher

Bottom Fisher looks for stocks at attractive price points after declines.

The portfolio uses a formula that sets target prices based on a required compounded annual return over a defined investment horizon.

The current framework targets a 24% compounded annual return over three years.

Bottom Fisher holdings and cash levels can change frequently, so the latest Updates should be checked before investing.

How Bottom Fisher weighting works

Bottom Fisher uses a different weighting approach from RFP and RSP.

  • Each stock represents 10% of the total amount allocated to Bottom Fisher

  • The portfolio may hold fewer than 10 stocks

  • Any unallocated share remains available for future opportunities

For example, if Bottom Fisher holds four stocks:

  • 40% is invested across the four stocks at 10% each

  • 60% remains uninvested

The uninvested share is recommended to remain in an easy-access fixed-income fund such as Thndr Clouds until new opportunities are added.

📝 Note: Check the latest Bottom Fisher Updates before investing because holdings and cash allocation can change.

Rumble Fundamental Portfolio (RFP) ADX

RFP ADX is a handpicked portfolio of 10 equally weighted stocks listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.

The portfolio is benchmarked against the FADGI index.

RFP ADX uses a top-down approach, moving from macroeconomic themes to individual companies.

For 2026, the investment themes include:

  • Earnings growth in non-oil sectors

  • Interest-rate easing

  • Dividends

  • M&A and spinoffs

  • Foreign inflows

How to rebalance RFP ADX

RFP ADX follows the same equal-weight approach as the Egyptian RFP.

  • Hold 10 stocks at equal weight

  • Rebalance to equal weight at the start of each month

  • Fully sell stocks removed in the monthly update

  • Add new stocks at the same equal weight

Rumble ADX Magic Portfolio (RAMP)

The Rumble ADX Magic Portfolio (RAMP) is a fully automated portfolio of 10 equally weighted ADX stocks.

RAMP is benchmarked against the FADGI index.

The portfolio ranks ADX-listed stocks using:

  • Profitability

  • Earnings yield

  • Valuation

  • Technical analysis

The final portfolio contains 10 stocks selected for strong fundamentals, attractive valuations, and promising technicals.

RAMP has a long-term investment horizon and is reviewed monthly.

At each monthly review:

  • Stocks may be added

  • Stocks may be removed

  • Existing holdings may remain unchanged

  • Each stock is reset to a 10% equal weight

Starting at the beginning of a calendar month aligns with the portfolio’s monthly rebalancing cycle.

Rumble US 7-Star Portfolio (RUSP)

The Rumble US 7-Star Portfolio (RUSP) is a fully automated portfolio of 10 equally weighted US stocks.

RUSP is benchmarked against the S&P 500.

The portfolio screens stocks using seven criteria:

  • Profitability

  • Growth

  • Liquidity

  • Solvency

  • Earnings quality

  • Valuation

  • Technical analysis

RUSP has a long-term investment horizon and is reviewed monthly.

At each monthly review:

  • Stocks may be added

  • Stocks may be removed

  • Existing holdings may remain unchanged

  • Each stock is reset to a 10% equal weight

Starting at the beginning of a calendar month aligns with the monthly rebalancing cycle.

📝 Note: RUSP currently appears under the UAE market until a separate US market is added.
