Watchlists on ThndrX desktop allow stocks to be organized into custom lists for easier tracking.
Each watchlist displays selected stocks in a configurable market-data table.
Watchlists can also be used as a source in the Listing widget on the Trade page.
A ThndrX account can have:
one default watchlist
up to 15 custom watchlists
up to 50 stocks in each watchlist
Default watchlist
Every ThndrX account includes a default watchlist.
The default watchlist:
cannot be renamed
cannot be deleted
is synced with the Favorites list on the Thndr app
Adding or removing a stock from the default watchlist on ThndrX updates Favorites on the Thndr app.
Changes made to Favorites on the Thndr app also update the default watchlist on ThndrX.
📝 Note: Custom watchlists created on ThndrX are separate from Favorites and are not available on the Thndr app.
Creating a custom watchlist
To create a watchlist:
Open the Watchlists page.
Click the + button in the page header.
Enter a watchlist name.
Click Create.
The new watchlist appears as a tab and can immediately be used to add stocks.
A maximum of 15 custom watchlists can be created per account.
Adding stocks to a watchlist
To add stocks:
Open the required watchlist.
Click Add to Watchlist.
Search by company name or ticker.
Select the stocks to add.
Click Save.
Stocks already selected in the modal are part of the current watchlist.
Removing a selection before saving removes that stock from the watchlist.
⚠️ Important: Each watchlist supports a maximum of 50 stocks.
Removing a stock from a watchlist
To remove a stock directly from the watchlist table:
Find the required stock row.
Click the delete icon on the right side of the row.
The stock is removed from the current watchlist.
For the default watchlist, removing a stock also removes the stock from Favorites on the Thndr app.
Renaming a custom watchlist
To rename a custom watchlist:
Right-click the watchlist tab.
Select Rename.
Enter the new name.
Confirm the change.
The default watchlist cannot be renamed.
Deleting a custom watchlist
To delete a custom watchlist:
Right-click the watchlist tab.
Select Delete.
Confirm the deletion.
Deleting a custom watchlist removes the list, not the stocks from the Thndr account.
The default watchlist cannot be deleted.
Watchlist table
Each watchlist uses the same configurable table structure available in Market Watch.
The watchlist table supports:
configurable columns
column sorting
stock search and review
standard stock interactions
Use the settings icon at the top right of the table to show or hide optional columns.
Click a column header to sort the watchlist by that metric.
Stock actions from a watchlist
Selecting a stock row opens the Overview side panel for the selected stock.
Right-clicking a stock opens additional actions, including:
Add price alert
Trade
Add to another watchlist
Using a watchlist on the Trade page
Any watchlist can be loaded into the Listing widget on the Trade page.
To use a watchlist in the Listing widget:
Open the Trade page.
Open the source selector in the Listing widget.
Select Watchlists.
Choose the required watchlist.
The Listing widget then displays stocks from the selected watchlist.
Watchlist limits
ThndrX watchlists have two main limits:
maximum 15 custom watchlists per account
maximum 50 stocks per watchlist
The default watchlist does not count as a custom watchlist.

How does the default watchlist work with the Thndr app?
The default watchlist on ThndrX is synced with Favorites on the Thndr app.
Stocks added or removed from either platform are reflected on both.
