The Market Watch Tab on ThndrX desktop

The Market Watch tab is part of the Market page on ThndrX desktop.

Market Watch provides a detailed, row-by-row view of EGX stocks in a live table.

Market Watch includes:

For a high-level market view using indices, heatmaps, sector performance, market breadth, and macroeconomic indicators, use Market Overview.

Five sub-tabs are available at the top of Market Watch.

Displays the full EGX stock table with available market and fundamental data.

Displays stocks with the highest positive percentage change during the current trading day.

Displays stocks with the largest negative percentage change during the current trading day.

Displays stocks from the default watchlist using the same table format.

Displays stocks currently held in the portfolio using the same table format.

Each row in the Market Watch table represents one stock.

The table can be scrolled to view additional stocks and columns.

Select a column header to sort the table by that column.

Selecting a stock row opens the Overview side panel for the selected stock.

Right-clicking a stock opens additional actions, including:

The following columns appear by default.

Shows the stock ticker and company logo.

Shows the current market price.

Shows the current price change in EGP.

Shows the current price change as a percentage.

Shows the total value of shares traded during the current trading day in EGP.

Shows the total number of shares traded during the current trading day.

Shows the total number of executed transactions during the current trading day.

RVol — Relative Volume compares current trading volume with the stock's 30-day average daily volume.

RVol is calculated as:

Current traded volume ÷ 30-day average daily volume

An RVol above 100% means current traded volume is above the 30-day average.

An RVol below 100% means current traded volume is below the 30-day average.

Shows the average daily trading volume over the last 30 trading days.

Shows the reference price for the current trading session.

Shows the highest stock price during the last 52 weeks.

Shows the lowest stock price during the last 52 weeks.

The Traded Ratio shows the proportion of traded volume executed at the ask price versus the bid price.

Traded Ratio describes where executed volume occurred. Traded Ratio does not predict future price direction.

Shows the EGX sector assigned to the stock.

Additional columns can be enabled from the settings icon at the top right of Market Watch.

Available optional columns include:

Shows the stock's Price-to-Earnings ratio.

Earnings Per Share shows company earnings allocated to each share.

Shows annual cash dividends as a percentage of the current stock price.

Shows average daily trading volume over the last 5 trading days.

Shows average daily trading volume over the last 90 trading days.

Shows the total number of listed shares.

Shows the total market value of listed shares at the current market price.

Use the settings icon at the top right of Market Watch to control optional columns.

Optional columns can be shown or hidden without changing the underlying stock data.

Use the Market Watch search bar to find a stock by:

Search covers EGX stocks available in Market Watch.

Select any column header to sort the stock table using that metric.

Sorting can be used to compare stocks by measures such as:

Available sorting options depend on the columns currently displayed.

Market Watch prices, traded values, volumes, and derived market metrics update in real time while the EGX market is trading.

Market Watch provides detailed stock-level information in a sortable table.

Market Overview provides a high-level market view using indices, heatmaps, sector performance, breadth, movers, commodities, and macroeconomic indicators.

Traded Ratio shows the share of executed trading volume that occurred at the ask price versus the bid price.

Green represents volume executed at the ask. Red represents volume executed at the bid.

Traded Ratio describes executed trading activity and does not indicate future price direction.

RVol means Relative Volume.

RVol compares current traded volume with the stock's 30-day average daily volume.

An RVol above 100% represents volume above the 30-day average. An RVol below 100% represents volume below the 30-day average.

Select a column header to sort the table by that column.

For example, selecting RVol sorts stocks by Relative Volume, while selecting % Chg sorts stocks by daily percentage change.

The Watchlist sub-tab displays stocks from the default watchlist using the Market Watch table format.

The same available market data columns can be used to review tracked stocks.
