Money moving into or out of your wallet (top ups, withdrawals, transfers) follows a processing journey. Each transaction updates through different statuses and appears in your wallet activity, helping you track progress, understand availability, and take action if needed.

Your wallet activity translates all transactions into clear, readable entries.

Understanding Your Balance
Your wallet balance is split into three categories. Each category reflects a different state of your cash.
Balance type | What it means |
Settled balance | Fully cleared money. You can invest, withdraw, or transfer freely.

Unsettled balance | Recently received cash (e.g. from stock sales) you can invest with, but not withdraw or move to Savings until the official settlement period ends. |
Pending balance | Temporarily locked cash because you’ve already told Thndr to do something with it (e.g. open orders or withdrawal requests) It is visible in your wallet but unavailable for any other use. |
Where to check balance details in the app:
On the Thndr app,
Tap Wallet.
Tap the (?) icon in the top right corner
Your balance breakdown will be displayed instantly.
When Can I Invest?
Your Settled and Unsettled Balances are available for investing. To check this, go to Wallet and tap the (?) icon.
Examples include:
Deposits/Top Ups once added to your wallet.
Sale proceeds from stocks, ETFs that appear as Unsettled Balance after your sell order is executed
Settled cash already available in your wallet
Where to check: Tap Wallet, then the (?) icon in the top-right corner to view your Settled and Unsettled Balance.
When Can I Withdraw?
You can withdraw any amount shown in your Settled Balance. To check this, go to Wallet and tap the (?) icon.
How long does it take?
If you just sold an investment, your cash needs to "settle" before it can be withdrawn.
Stocks & ETFs:
US Market: 1 working day after your sale (T+1).
EGX & ADX: 2 working days after your sale (T+2).
Mutual Funds: Once the fund manager processes your redemption (usually 1–2 business days).

How Long Transfers Take
Processing time depends on the transfer method used.
Some top ups appear instantly after successful payment
Some transfers require manual review or external confirmation
Withdrawals may take additional bank processing time after approval
Always check the expected timeline shown for the specific method you selected.
When to Contact Support
Contact support if:
Your request stays in the same status longer than the expected timeframe
You completed a transfer but no status update appears
A request shows Rejected and the reason is unclear
A request shows Returned but the money has not arrived back
A withdrawal shows completed, but the receiving account has not received the money after the expected time

FAQs
Why can't I withdraw my full balance?
The wallet total is not the same as the with withdrawable amount. Only your settled balance is available for withdrawal.
Part of your balance may be:
Unsettled — still within the settlement period after selling a security
Pending — held for an open order or a withdrawal request

Why does my balance show as pending?
A pending balance means cash is temporarily on hold due to:
An active buy order
A withdrawal request in progress
Once the order is executed or the withdrawal is completed, the balance will be deducted from your wallet
How long does it take for cash to settle after selling a stock?
Settlement depends on the market:
Egypt (EGX): T+2
United States (US): T+1
United Arab Emirates (ADX): T+2
How long does it take for cash to settle after a mutual fund?

What is a commission kickback?
A commission kickback is a refund of trading fees to your wallet.
It applies when you are subscribed to Thndr Trader and eligible for commission-free trading — any charged commission is returned to your wallet automatically.
